Flinders Medical Centre are looking for Casual Ward Clerks to join the team
About the Role:
As a Ward Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff. You will perform general administrative and clerical duties pertaining to the management of patients in the ward/unit and facilitate communication between the patient, Nurse/Midwife Manager and other units to ensure the efficient use of beds. You will also assist Nursing and Medical staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the ward/unit, and provide a customer focussed reception service for patients, families and staff.
About you:
Demonstrated general experience in clerical and/or receptionist duties. Ability to communicate with a range of patients, the public, visitors and staff in an efficient and courteous manner. Demonstrated high standard of written and oral communication skills. Experience in using information systems and data entry.Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
