Remedial Massage Therapist

We are looking for Remedial Massage Therapists to join our friendly and professional team

Our shops are in the Gold Coast area. We are a well-established massage clinic dedicated to providing clients with high-quality customer service and results-driven treatments.

You must have at least three years of full-time experience in remedial massage practice and hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage or above. Excellent communication skills are also critical.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Greeting customers and conducting pre-assessments to determine the most appropriate techniques for their needs.

2. Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to promote healing and relieve pain.

3. Utilising a variety of massage techniques to enhance sports performance, prevent injuries, and provide therapeutic care.

4. Administering treatments to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote relaxation.

5. Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunctions and providing tailored rehabilitation advice.

6. Using complementary techniques such as acupressure or Shiatsu and aids like infrared lamps, essential oils, and herbal and mineral therapies to assist recovery and enhance treatment outcomes.

7. Maintaining accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports, ensuring continuity of care.

8. Offering self-care advice to clients on stretching, posture, and overall wellness to enhance the effectiveness of treatments.
