The Role

As Donations Sorter you will be responsible for supporting our warehouse operations through the sorting and packing of donated goods and materials in accordance with our policies and procedures.

This is a permanent part-time position (30 hours per week) based in Arundel.

To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in general warehousing and knowledge of stock rotation principles
  • Willingness to sort incoming donations and ability to be decisive in your approach
  • Knowledge of fashion brands and other high-end products desirable
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation
  • Commitment to promoting and creating a safe workplace, ensuring all policies, procedures and legislative requirements are adhered to
  • Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
