IL Lago Pizzeria, founded in 2015 by two founders on Mount Warrigal. Through expansions from 2017 to 2020, we have 6 Italian restaurants across multiple venues in NSW.

We're hiring for a full-time Cook with IL Lago, to work for one of our Italian restaurants at The Links Shell Cove Golf Club. Apply now and be part of a dynamic team in the heart of this great location

MAIN TAKS:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to our high standards;
• Ensure company recipes and preparation requirements are met;
• Manage food production and ensure that the dishes served are of high quality, that they comply with the Company’s standards and specification, and delight our guests;
• Assist with menu design and development, including providing tasting sessions if required;
• Assist in stock management and ordering as needed;
• Ensure all food preparation and cooking is carried out in a safe and hygienic manner;
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment;
• Monitor and comply with Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental practices;
• Supervise and train kitchen staff as required.

 Qualification and Skills:

• Cooking experience in a similar role for at least 3 years
• Catering qualification
• Kitchen workflow knowledge
• Modern and contemporary approach to cooking
• Great knowledge of food and beverages and appreciation of the importance of food hygiene
• Be able to handle a large amount of orders under pressure
• Delivers company standards
• Personnel skills
• Team player
