Assistant breaker required for busy thoroughbred yard near Camden, NSW (1 hour from Sydney). Successful applicant will work with head breaker Shane Rose and assist with the starting of young thoroughbred and warmblood horses. Prior experience starting young horses an advantage but not necessary as training can be provided. Applicants must be experienced rider with ability to ride and handle young horses. The position would best suit young rider who is wanting to gain experience and make a career in the equine industry. Other duties will include general grooming and property maintenance. Opportunity to bring own own horse to train and compete.
