With operations in Australia and New Zealand our business will be powered by two local manufacturing sites, six distribution centres and more than 1500 driven and diverse Suntorians.

The Opportunity

We’re bringing the best of Suntory to Oceania and building a best-in-class Sales team for our brand new Australian licensed function working with brands, including Jim Beam and Maker's Mark Bourbon, Hibiki Japanese Whisky, Canadian Club Whisky, and -196.

This role offers something unique and career defining. Reporting to our Head of Field Sales – Licensed, your new role as State Sales Manager SA/WA/NT will see you build your team from the ground up as well as the operational foundations that will be pivotal to you and your teams success in market.

This is a critical people leadership role, you will be the driving force behind your team, leading, inspiring and developing capability that will see them execute effectively on strategic initiatives and deliver on key performance metrics. You will leverage your local market knowledge and experience with the customer base to execute business and navigate more complex relationships to deliver win/win outcomes.

What’s in your toolkit

We’re looking for an individual with a strong track record of success in a Senior Sales Management or Account Management role within the Licensed space, who has lead and developed high-performing field based sales teams. You will need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with success in developing and implementing strategic sales plans. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are a given. With a strong drive for results, you will motivate and inspire others to achieve outstanding results in market.
