Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Insolvency Supervisor/Manager to join our clients Newcastle team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in insolvency and restructuring to lead projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our regional office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • File Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of insolvency matters, including liquidations, bankruptcies, voluntary administrations, and receiverships.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of insolvency professionals, ensuring high standards of performance and client service.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, creditors, and stakeholders, providing expert advice and support throughout the insolvency process.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all insolvency cases comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, preparing detailed reports and documentation as needed.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to the strategic direction of the Newcastle office, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in service delivery.
  • Business Development: Assist in developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships to drive the success of the regional office.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in insolvency and restructuring, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge of insolvency laws and practices.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
