About the role: 

Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.

Details of the role include:

  • This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week
  • Medical centre hours are from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday
  • Availability to work across a rotational roster between opening hours in particular from 10am-6pm

The role includes: 

  • Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
  • Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
  • Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
  • Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record

Your background: 

  • Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
  • Phlebotomy experience essential
  • Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
  • Excellent customer service skills
