The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Maintenance Planner to join our Planning and Scheduling team in Dandenong, Victoria on a Permanent Full Time Contract.

Reporting to the Planning Team Leader, you will play a key role in scheduling field operations maintenance works and related project activities whilst meeting the needs of various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed work schedules for maintenance and project work tasks, maximising technician field time, equipment uptime, and completion of maintenance work
  • Optimise Field Operations efficiency by ensuring schedules take into consideration asset type, location, accessibility, grouping and work scheduling to reduce repetitive site visits
  • Assign appropriately skilled personnel to work tasks
  • Chair planning and scheduling meetings to review new work, draft schedules, outstanding actions and backlogs prior to releasing scheduled work
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with Regional Manager, Field Services Technicians, Project Delivery Engineers, Facility Engineers, Control Room and Corridor Protection.
  • Implement and adopt works management initiatives and improvements

Your background

  • Applicable maintenance scheduling and/or maintenance planning experience
  • Experience in Gas Pipeline, Mining, Refining, Oil & Gas or similar energy industry is an advantage
  • Experienced with CMMS systems and Works Management
  • Advance capability with Microsoft Excel, including manipulation and analysis of data
