Senior Engineering Manager

You have a well-equipped managerial toolbox and experience in leading a large team of engineers delivering business impact. You have either a technical background in either software engineering or have deep understanding of low-level technical concepts, like networking, application architecture and/or databases. You are able to independently identify and tackle projects that solve open-ended, ambiguous problems that are often beyond the scope of your immediate team. You take accountability for the people in your team, the way they work, and the results they deliver. You can identify, diagnose and pro-actively create solutions to ensure a team that performs at their best. You autonomously guide your team to the sustainable delivery of business impact through both execution mastery and people management. You can confidently coach developers at any level to reach their full potential. You can confidently help your team navigate their way through large organisational change. You give and receive "radically candid" feedback that challenges and demonstrates care. You are a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion.

A typical day might include
Working flexibly, perhaps in your home office, using a device of your choice, with or without music, in an atmosphere you create for yourself. Clarifying the goals, roles, development and execution plans for your team. Helping your team understand our strategy and how they are contributing to the big picture. Proactively coaching people remotely, accelerating them along their personal growth trajectory.
