$31.65 per hour + super Finish at 12 pm on Fridays  Work on unique Defence vehicles and assets.  Experience Tyre Fitting with trucks sought after Amberley location

About the Role: 

Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, are seeking experienced Trade Assistants, to join the team in Amberley, Queensland maintaining and repairing Defence vehicles and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities: 

Tyre fitting Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop  Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks  Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner  Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so 

 
Key Skills & Attributes Include: 

You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.  Hold a current Driver’s License (C class, manual, open)  Forklift licence preferred. Experience in tyre fitting, with trucks (especially armoured vehicle/ run flat installation) would be an advantage.  Previous Defence experience desirable but not essential.
