A Day in the Life
An exciting role for an experienced sales professional to be part of a company and a successful Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business that thinks differently to solve problems and deliver meaningful and disruptive innovations to the electrophysiology market in Australia & New Zealand.
You will be involved in the sales & support of the launch of Medtronics Pulse Field Ablation platforms Pulse Select, Sphere 9 & the Affera 3D mapping and navigation system and EP products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in Electrophysiology 3D Mapping and navigation, strong understanding of the sales process for both capital and consumables and a high degree of commercial acumen to drive one’s success, grow the market and achieve sales revenue.
You will be based in Perth and report into the Cardiac Ablation Solutions Regional Business Director.
Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. It is focused on disrupting and leading the market with advanced ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and conventional EP products.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Promote, sell & educate on Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions consumable and capital products across Western Australia.
Develop and continue to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders at a clinical, procurement and C-suite level, leveraging these for sales of Cardiac Ablation Solutions consumables & capital equipment.
Provide case and technical support at Radiofrequency ablation, Cryoablation, electrophysiology and 3D mapping/navigation procedures as required in and out of the specified territory.
Form an annual and quarterly business plan that aligns with the Cardiac Ablation Solutions marketing/business plan that can be executed upon to protect and grow the business further.
Present the Cardiac Ablation Solutions vision and strategy to key customer stakeholders.
Present technical in-services to clinical buyers and provide insight and perspective on state tender pricing initiatives.
Log Business Plans, Sales Calls, Scheduled Procedures, Opportunities & Forecast into Salesforce.com.
Ensure effective Consignment Inventory management - each location has the right amount of inventory for scheduled procedures, right product, right quantity at the right time.
Ability to forecast sales and unit demand.
Support and facilitate Cardiac Ablation Solutions clinical strategy through supporting clinical protocols/inventory management initiatives associated with clinical studies.
Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Cardiac Ablation Solutions Business and Product Manager and Divisional Staff.
Ensure the highest level of product knowledge is attained and maintained.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Degree qualifications.
Proficiency in consumable and capital sales.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures in order to operate as a technical support expert.
Demonstrated knowledge of 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
Some interstate travel may be required on occasion.
Valid driver’s license required
