Jacon is a global manufacturer of shotcrete, concrete transportation, concrete pumping and utility equipment and brings with it an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technician.  

About the Role:

Reporting to the Product Support Manager, the Product Support Service Technician will be primarily responsible for working on various mining and infrastructure projects -commissioning, servicing, and repairing Jacon Equipment. Experience in Mining, Civil and infrastructure, along with a sound knowledge of underground mining equipment will be considered an advantage.

This role is based in Brisbane, however will require regular travel. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out modifications and installations to new machinery.
  • Commissioning of new machinery at customer projects.
  • Training clients on various piece of Jacon Equipment.
  • Testing and adjusting of equipment components & systems.
  • Fault finding, repairing, replacing and providing technical advice.
  • Diagnosing root-cause malfunctioning systems and components.

Essential requirements are:

  • Motor Mechanic, fitter and/or similar trades are encouraged to apply.
  • Over 3 years experience with an OEM, heavy equipment background, or underground mining environment will be considered.
