Skills & Outlook

Health & Safety:  Ability and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and hazard-free environment and understand and comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Rules. Show willingness to ask questions when not sure of how to complete a task safely and and ask for help when it is needed. Ensure any issues are reported accordingly.

Reliability:  You can simply be counted on to do whatever job. On time arrival and drive to complete assigned tasks are also key requirements.

Attention to detail: Demonstrates focus on details through accuracy in stock picking and stock returns for all equipment and accessories.

Adhere to reasonable management instruction:  Ensure that the Company’s policies, rules, procedures, and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties.

Qualifications & Licences

Victorian Drivers Licence: Employees are required to have a car driver's licence.

Highly Valued Qualifications & Competencies 

Experience in areas of entertainment lighting or video Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety Electrical Test & Tag competency Manual Handling competency Forklift high-risk work licence Use of stock management software  Light, medium, or heavy rigid drivers licence Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities

Work as part of a team in the preparation, cleaning, verification, testing and returning of department specific, and associated equipment to Company standard and procedure. Accurate checking of stock. Identify and report damaged equipment and report to Supervisor. Sort and place materials or items on to racks, shelves and locations. Check sub-hired equipment upon receipt of and prior to return, ensuring items are complete and in the same condition as received from supplier. Carry out regulatory compliance testing as appropriate. Fulfil routine maintenance and repair of equipment. Complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule. Inform the Supervisor of any shortages of equipment / consumables for forthcoming jobs. Unload and load vehicles as required. Apply safe manual handling, electrical safety and working at heights practices. Demonstrate strong focus on own safety and safety of others in the workplace.
