What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit requires a HR driver and LF forklift operator for our rail operations, to safely deliver various products from our distribution centre based in East Arm Darwin, to our retail distribution centres and customers within Darwin and some regional areas. As part of this role, you will be required to load and unload containers and drive our automatic Volvo fleet. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available, Monday to Friday on day shift starting from 7:30am completing a 38hr+ week. Key areas:

  • Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times.
  • Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner.
  • Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.
  • Proactive approach and positive attitude.
