The Company
We’re recruiting several positions with an exciting, forward thinking Federal Government client based in Bruce. They are currently undertaking several projects internally uplifting their ICT systems and are looking to grow their team in accordance with this. (Applicants for this role must maintain a Baseline security clearance or higher). 
 
The Role
The organisation is looking to fill 4x key roles:

  • Desktop Engineer
  • Server Engineer
  • Infrastructure Engineer
  • Integration Engineer

 
Key Responsibilities
The broad brief on these roles is to:

  • Provide technical support across a broad range of platforms and systems – including Cloud and on-premises platforms.  
  • Work autonomously to manage effective implementation of major technology changes. Ensuring approach integrates with standard practices and appropriate consultation with stakeholders.  
  • Proactively and professionally communicate with key business and external partner stakeholders   
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, consulting with colleagues to develop agreed resolutions.  
  • Monitor and maintain technology environment resilience and control measures (including system changes); ensuring that typical system changes do not diminish organisational technology environment information security or service resilience standards.  
  • Support project managers to develop DevOps work breakdown structures and schedules. 
  • Assist in the delivery of quality advice and reporting on relevant issues to senior management. 

 
Key Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or substantial technology experience and skills across a broad range of digital enterprise platforms. Experience with some or all of the following; 
    • Azure, O365, ADFS, Azure AAD and modern authentication (SAML, OIDC), SSO (Single Sign On) technologies, VMware ESX, Microsoft Windows Server. 
    • SQL and PowerShell scripting, SCCM packaging, server/application patching and VMWare Management 
    • Deploying and managing digital certificates and certificate authorities 
    • Web application deployment and debugging 
    • Network Management experience with Fortinet firewalls and Aruba networking. 
    • Application integration leveraging APIs and automation frameworks. 
    • Application Whitelisting and Vulnerability Management  
    • Analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability undertake self-directed work that delivers timely outcomes. 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to develop innovative solutions, translating these into fit-for-purpose designs and approaches. 
  • Experience in documenting technical systems and processes. 
  • Experience supporting and implementing architectural design. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with influence when working with non-technical stakeholders and document process and procedures. 
  • Ability to work on both BAU and Project activities
