Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Completes pre-inspections of vehicles. Drives member vehicle into install bay. Follow safety procedures. Current drivers license required.
  • Operation of hydraulic hoists.
  • Removal of wheels using impact gun. Follows safety and security procedures.
  • Manual handling of wheels to mounting machines, removal of tyres from wheels.
  • Mounting of new tyres on wheels, use of compressed air to correct pressure.
  • Operates automatic balance machine to get reading of proper weight placement to balance wheel.
  • Mounting of wheels to vehicles.
  • Complete final safety checks and completion of paperwork.
  • Puncture repairs.
  • House keeping.
  • Assists with sales and stocking of tyres in sales area in accordance with merchandising plan.
  • Provides excellent member service to Costco members, proven knowledge of tyre install processes and products is preferred.
  • Identify suitable products for sale to Costco Members.
  • Processes tyre/battery sales through point of sale system.
  • Follows company policies and procedures.
  • Stocktake and stock control.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

  • Assists with front-end duties as necessary.
  • Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Drivers License.
  • Experience in tyre sales fitting.

Costco Wholesale is a drug and alcohol free workplace;
