LANDSCAPING APPRENTICESHIPS

LD Total's next intake of Apprentices is now underway, and we are looking for enthusiastic applicants to join our Company.  LD Total is celebrating 23 years of business in 2024, and we have had more than 45 Apprentices successfully graduate through our program in the last 10 years.  Many of our apprentices have integrated their passion and commitment with their skills and knowledge to progress through LD Total into senior leadership roles. 

We are a privately owned company that specialises in landscape and irrigation design, commercial construction, maintenance, and residential lot packages, including landscaping and fencing.  We are a national leader in landscaping with locations in Perth, the South West of WA, Melbourne, Adelaide and Queensland.

We are offering the following apprenticeships in Melbourne based out of our Yarraville depot.

  • Certificate III in Parks & Gardens
  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction 

HOURLY RATE FOR A FIRST YEAR APPRENTICE WILL BE $27.30

Minimum Selection Criteria:

  • A genuine passion for landscaping and irrigation
  • A commitment towards a career in the landscape and irrigation industry
  • An ability to perform physical work in an outdoor environment
  • An ability to operate landscaping equipment such as trenching machines, mowers, whippers, hedgers, edgers, wheelbarrows, compactors, augers, concrete saws, etc
  • An awareness of safe work practices
  • A willingness to contribute as part of a team
  • A commitment to their studies
  • A current "C" class manual driver's licence
