We operate a growing fleet of Fokker 100 and A319/A320 aircraft from Perth Airport, operating over 300 weekly flights to destinations throughout WA and beyond. These flights include Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) services for the resources industry, corporate charter, routine or emergency freight, as well as regular airline services on behalf of Qantas.
As a Network Aviation Simulator Instructor, you will provide comprehensive training on A320 full flight simulators and synthetic flight training devices. Your responsibilities will see you conduct type rating, differences, command, remedial and recency training, along with technical ground schools for Network Aviation flight crew.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
- ATPL with Simulator Instructor Rating and Type Rating endorsement or equivalent
- Experience in simulator type rating instruction
- Flight Examiner Rating – Type Rating preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching/mentoring skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Highly motivated
- Able to develop expert knowledge of Company SOPs, aircraft and equipment
- Knowledge of flying operations to ensure credibility among Flight Crew
- Expertise in the exercising of regulatory delegations
- Ability to meet TACM/TRTM requirements
- Deliver high standards of training and development to candidates undertaking simulator instruction
- Thorough knowledge of Regulations, CAOs, CASRs, Advisory Circulars
- Microsoft office skills
- Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Training desirable
