Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

  • 7+ Years of SAP Plant Maintenance consultant experience

  • SAP PM Implementation and Support Experience

  • Configuration knowledge in PM : Such as Enterprise structure, Maintenance processing and Preventive maintenance functions

  • Configuration Knowledge in CS.

  • Must have knowledge and support experience for Enterprise Assests Management

  • Configuration Knowledge and Hands-on experience in Linear Asset Management

  • Work closely with the technical development team for custom development including Webdynpro components & Enterprise portal netweaver platform 7.0

  • Knowledge of SAP ASAP methodology or similar SDLC

  • Knowledge of SAP change management tool, SAP Solution Manager preferred

  • Exposure to HP QC for SAP functional testing is plus

  • Knowledge of project implementation, go live support and execute global roll- outs for various locations

  • Knowledge of PM integration with MM – External services & procurement, FICO – including intercompany scenarios for settlement process

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and strong verbal and written communication skill

  • Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  • Work directly with clients to support various projects and solutions.

  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.

  • Identify areas and processes where SAP EAM can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.

  • Being involved in end to end project activities including Assessment, requirement gathering, planning, development, testing, UAT, Go-Live, Post Live support, and enhancements

  • Providing consultation on various business requirements

  • Providing Effort estimation considering cost and timeline for the project including no of resources, software costs, phase-wise project plan, and assumptions

  • Writing and maintaining application artefacts like technical and functional design documents, test cases

  • Providing consultation, guidance, and expertise in proposals activities related to SAP PM

  • Working on new enhancements, liaising with business users, understanding the requirements, and delivering the solution while coordinating with other team members
