Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to maintaining and improving agricultural operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, operate, and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in machinery and equipment.
  • Implement and monitor pest and disease control measures.
  • Perform soil tests and analyze results to guide fertilization and planting.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of irrigation systems.
  • Collect and record data on crop performance and environmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with agronomists to develop crop management plans.
  • Train and supervise junior technicians and farm staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will hold a relevant certification or diploma in Agricultural Technology or a related field. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
