Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead your team of designers to complete MV reticulation and protection including switch room design and builds within large scale industrial manufacturing facilities
  • Provide expert consultation, designs, and estimations of MV and LV reticulation systems for Hydro Power Station and Mining Upgrades
  • Conduct comprehensive Power System Modelling and Analysis Studies.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Chartered Status (CPEng) is a prerequisites.
  • Proficiency in design quality assurance processes and relevant standards.
  • Skilled in generating detailed technical reports and project scopes.
  • Strong understanding of HV substations, control, automation, and protection systems.
  • Experienced in coaching, mentoring, and leading engineering teams.
  • Design of substation Earthing would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and adept at working independently or collaboratively.
  • Effective communicator with a willingness to travel for project assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience in CAD software such as AutoCad.
  • Demonstrated experience in Power System Analysis using PowerCad, PTW or ETAP would be highly regarded.
