As the EL 1 ILS Manager within the Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (EWIS) – Active Electronic Scanned Array Systems Program Office (AESA SPO) you will be required to manage a wide range of logistics and programmatic activities relating to the sustainment of AESA capabilities. These activities may include logistics planning, governing and assuring activities leading to the delivery of state of the art capability that supports our personnel in the field as well as providing support to International customers under a government-to-government export arrangement. 
The key function of this position is to provide expert input into the design of domestic and international export projects and to ensure that these projects and the capabilities they support make a seamless transition from the acquisition into sustainment. The position is also responsible for the successful management of the In-Service-Support Contracts for internationally exported AESA products. The role will include a considerable level of stakeholder management with key internal and external stakeholders, including ADF, Foreign Government officials and Industry Partners. The ILS Manager will possess sound ILS / Sustainment acumen and demonstrated understanding of the Defence Industry Sector in Australia

The AESA SPO is part of the Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (EWIS) Branch, within the Department of Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).Charged with the responsibility of acquiring and sustaining a broad range of electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems in both tactical and strategic domains. The EWIS Branch provides its team with a wide range of exciting career opportunities. Within the EWIS Branch, the AESA SPO manages engagements between the Department of Defence and CEA Technologies – a supplier of world-leading radar technologies that are designed, developed and manufactured in Australia.
