The role:

We are seeking an energetic Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Kilsyth on a full-time basis. In this integral role, you will utilise your expertise in crafting, implementing, and managing learning solutions across various departments including product development, engineering, manufacturing, warehousing, and retail sales.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the ARB team is well-educated and informed on our product offerings, safety protocols, systems, and technical installations. Your ability to effectively engage with and communicate to a diverse group will be crucial, requiring a personable demeanour and strong relationship-building skills. As a proactive individual with a knack for driving projects forward and meeting deadlines, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning within our organisation. While primarily office-based, occasional travel to local ARB sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training needs analyses for sales, technicians, leaders and support office employees, including analysis to understand performance gaps
  • Consult with business partners to understand the strategy, develop a scope and recommend training solutions based on identified needs
  • Provide on-going analysis of learning programs across the business
  • Transfer ideas through the design, development and delivery of learning solutions, including eLearn solutions and facilitated sessions
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on maintaining relevance and accuracy in the provided learning solutions
  • Administer ARB-U – our LMS – and provide support to our internal customers
  • Administer the monthly training report and completions
  • Administer funding claims and apprenticeship support

To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Able to form and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of Articulate, especially Rise 360 and Storyline 360
  • Demonstrated experience with facilitating and the delivery of course content
  • A qualification in training design and development preferred
  • An understanding and experience of Vocational Education and Training
