ABS Kawana is passionate about providing our customers with the best automotive services possible, including the best customer experience and the most professional care. We provide a full range of automotive services including Inspections, Repairs, Replacements and Services (Major and Minor) for all types of vehicles. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is customer focused and confident working across all aspects of automotive repairs. As a full-time Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Main Duties and Tasks

• Fitting and balancing tyres
• Carrying out wheel alignments
• Replacing brake components
• Carry out vehicle servicing (including but not limited to; oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups)
• Carry out diagnostic procedures to identify faults.
• Repairing and replacing parts and components as required
• Testing and adjusting parts and components following repair or replacement
• Inspecting, servicing and repairing transmissions, suspension systems, drive and engine assemblies
• Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired
• Ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum - Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence with no restrictions.

Remuneration

The annual salary for the position will be set between $69K to $76K and will be determined based on your qualifications, experience and overall aptitude. The annual salary does not include superannuation contributions.
