Job Purpose

  • Seeking a project supervisor for a Tier 1 miner, working 8/6 (Wed-Wed) for the Water Projects team overseeing our monitored contracting partners that are building our dewatering infrastructure (i.e. Bore fields, Pipelines, Dams, access tracks and pumping stations), the role will initially be a 12-month contract position with the potential for full time position.
  • To Supervise the performance and execution of all project delivery activities in accordance with the schedule and plan to ensure all projects are delivered safely to the required quality and within the approved budgets

Accountabilities

  • Supervision project execution processes and routines to support the highest standard of compliance for all safety, standards and policies
  • Lead with an influencing style to create a team culture to support the Project Foundations and Company Values
  • Safety and quality verification through in-field monitoring including operational review of Construction Methodology Statements, TBRA’s, JHA’s, CRAWs, High Risk Certificates, Permits, Inspections and all identified risk assessment controls.
  • Incident reporting and investigation with the HSE team
  • Site Access and other Mobilisation activities for site based execution teams
  • Contractor performance management (Managed and Monitored Contractors)
  • Monitor alignment to construction schedules, methods, adequate resourcing, material and equipment requirements including daily execution documentation
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution to avoid execution delays
  • Attend all pre-starts and progress meetings for each project they are assigned
  • Produce daily milestone report including weather, progress, resources, actions and risks.
  • Liaise with the Materials/Logistics Controllers to ensure equipment and materials are available, equipment management and VOC of operators
  • Management with the PE for Isolation activities and coordination with respective operations team.
  • Participate in Hold Points within ITP, sign off ITR's and FIC’s
  • Maintain relationships and communications with site based stakeholders to optimise their project delivery outcomes
  • Attend all pre-starts and progress meetings for each project they are assigned
