The role

The Pallet Control Lead will manage and maintain the pallet control system and associated processes while improving the pallet control processes and policies. This will include but not limited to auditing the company’s pallet balances by site, ensuring robust processes are developed to identify gaps and recommend improvements to minimize liability and financial risk.

As part of the role you will:

  • Collect, verify and input pallet data into pallet control software on daily basis.
  • Generate daily/weekly and monthly reports to verify the accuracy of data entry
  • Review and report on all equipment hire and movements
  • Manage and maintain the pallet control systems.
  • Conduct regular analysis to identify root cause of operational deficiencies
  • Actively engage with your key stakeholders in identifying risks and close gaps.
  • Regularly communicate with the Supply Chain and retail teams on pallet control goals and current progress.
  • Setup pallet control systems and processes to ensure efficient pallet management.
  • Generate and analyze data within reconciliation reports, adhering to relevant reporting timelines.
  • Identify areas where Team Members need training to support the operational performance of pallet.
