The Learning and Organisational Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the use of SCC’s fit-for-purpose tools, strategies, and frameworks to boost the organisation's culture, capacity and capability, and for providing accurate and timely information to key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities include: providing support for SCC's internal systems, contributing positively to the team, promoting a workplace that aligns with SCC's purpose and values, liaising and collaborating with relevant stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure an efficient and positive experience for our team members.

Capabilities:

  • Relationship Management: An ability to build and nurture relationships, coupled with effective communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Coordination: Proficient in scheduling and managing learning and organisational development activities such as regular meetings and / or updates, presentations, and organisation wide mandatory learning offerings and other similar activities.
  • System Support: Demonstrated experience supporting team members and managers to make the most effective use of people platforms such as our Learning Management platform, Reward and Recognition platform, Performance and Engagement platform, including generating standard and custom reports.
  • Risk Assessment: Assessing, answering and assigning queries and requests received via the team's inbox to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build collaborative relationships, adapt messaging for different audiences, and liaise with others in a simple and relatable manner.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task according to business needs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards or completion of qualifications relating to Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology/ Education or a related field.

Previous Experience

  • Minimum of 12 months of progressive experience in an HR or related learning and/or organisational development role within a large organisation.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, technology adoption, and process optimisation.

  • Previous knowledge & experience administering enterprise-wide systems, e.g.- SABA, Cornerstone, Reward Gateway, Culture Amp, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, HiBob.
