Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our team and help us deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and insights to our clients using Microsoft Fabric and other tools.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You will also collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure data quality and accuracy. You will use your technical expertise to:

  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Fabric, SQL, DBT, Python, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and other tools.
  • Perform data analysis, data modelling, data cleansing, data integration and data validation using Python and other tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for business intelligence solutions, including data dictionaries, data flows, data mappings, and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for business intelligence solutions, including performance tuning, bug fixing, and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with business users, analysts, and managers to understand and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in the field of business intelligence and data analytics.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers and share best practices and standards.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence development.
  • Proficient in SQL, Power BI, Python, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and other business intelligence tools and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, data quality, and data governance concepts and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and quality orientation.
