About the opportunity

As our IT Procurement Specialist for Transformation, you’ll be responsible for facilitating the procurement and management of IT agreements throughout the contract lifecycle from creating and driving RFx activities, contract negotiations and management of renewals.

The role will work closely Program Managers, Legal, Technology Stakeholders and Business Stakeholders across Endeavour Group’s key transformation streams to ensure procurement requirements are met, contract expenditure is aligned with budgetary commitments and transformation procurement activities are mapped and aligned with program timelines.


The role will have the opportunity to support multiple Transformation programs and will cover hardware,software, and services contracts.

A day in a life of a IT Procurement Specialist

Engage with Transformation stakeholders to develop materials to support go-to-market activities. Manage and run RFx activities including facilitating workshops, vendor shortlisting and notification of award or unsuccessful bids. Review vendor proposals with a particular focus on commercial outcomes and business benefits in alignment with program and Group strategies. Act as the central point of contact for vendors during contract negotiations. Facilitate deal working groups between Legal, Transformation, Technology and Business stakeholders to support with key decision making. Review contract terms and help deal working groups with understanding the commercial value in contracts and risks introduced within negotiated terms. Maintain consistent operating processes for managing vendor partners. Facilitate benchmarking research exercises to ensure Endeavour to continue to have the best service options in the market. Experience with competitive co-design, competitive dialogue and/or dynamic sourcing processes preferred but not mandatory.

What you’ll need to succeed

Functional Skills
⦁ Proven experience in negotiating and managing technology contracts for a large enterprise. 
⦁ Solid understanding of technology contracts, implementation contracts and managed service agreements.
⦁ Strong analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrates a logical approach to problem solving.
⦁ Can demonstrate use of initiative, flexibility and innovative thinking.
⦁ Previous experience working with service partners, suppliers, system integrators, etc.
⦁ Experience working in a Digital environment.
⦁ Ability to think customer first and relate solutions back to the customer problem and outcomes.
