About this role
We are seeking passionate, customer-centric candidates to join our Clinical Team as an Emergency Department Orderly. As part of this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional clinical care and enhancing patient experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting patients with care and compassion
- Assisting nursing staff with manual handling duties under direct supervision
- Assist with the storage of clinical stores and supplies;
- Empty linen bags as necessary;
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment as per nursing staff requests
- Transportation of equipment
Hours
This position is permanent part time at 60 hours per fortnight, with shift hours between 7am and 10pm, of varying lengths from 4 hours to 8 hours.
About you
Though experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The preferred candidate should demonstrate
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- cultural sensitivity and inclusivity
- experience in a fast-paced environment
