Surgical Liaison Nurse

Position Summary

BCH is in an exciting phase of development and expansion, inclusive of a fully integrated state-of-the-art theatre complex. Comprising of three operating suites and one procedure room which is operational 5 days per week. The Elective Surgery Access Unit operates five days per week, preparing patients for surgery according to the Planned Surgery Access Policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge and an understanding of the Planned Surgery Access Policy
  • Previous experience in the role or similar is highly desirable
  • Previous surgical nursing experience is essential
  • Proven ability to work autonomously
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Requirements

  • Valid Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Flu Vaccination
