What you’ll do 

Reporting to the Head of Customer experience you will use your design experience to understand and identify gaps in our ‘Must Win’ customer journeys, working with channel owners to optimise experiences to deliver onboarding, churn, retention, and Customer lifecycle strategies. You will gather deep knowledge and insights of Customer behaviour improving the overall Customer Experience.

You will:

  • Collaborate with a range of teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver improved outcomes for Customers using design thinking and innovation methodologies
  • Be responsible for taking actionable insights and using these to generate target concepts that meet or exceed our customer expectations balanced with the needs of the business
  • Develop and champion Customer personas to frame journeys, issues, and opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops/co-creation activities with internal staff, Retailers and Customers to codesign solutions
  • Build a unique toolkit of design tools
  • Support the creation and delivery of a Design Community of Practice
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible and validate that implementation reflects the intended design.
  • Identify and evaluate CX and Design trends and offerings, be at the forefront of Design practices and developments.
  • Facilitate collaborative activities across departments to turn Customer insights into action
  • Operate as a genuine trusted advisor within the business, building strong business relationships based on trust and delivery.

What you’ll bring 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Design, quantitative discipline, or social sciences
  • 3 – 5 years’ work experience within a large commercial environment with a demonstratable portfolio of inspired and innovative Experience design.
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills and driving delivery in a collaborative environment.
  • Presentation skills: you don’t report stats or send out reports – you tell stories backed up by data. You are comfortable presenting to a broad audience of stakeholders and are not afraid to defend your findings in a discussion. You know how to formulate and present your story depending on the audience.
  • Demonstrated experience in tools such as Sketch, MIRO and Invision for wireframe and prototype creation for visual design.
