At Atlan Stormwater, we draw on more than 45 years’ experience in the design, testing and manufacture of water treatment systems that are utilised in over 45 countries.
 
We are currently looking for a Production Manager (Manufacturing) to join our team in Sydney.
 
Key accountability:
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Planning details of production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Monitoring production output and costs and adjusting processes and resources to minimize costs.
  • Maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Controlling the preparation of production records and reports
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Overseeing the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment
  • Work closely with the procurement team to coordinate material ordering and replenishment activities.
Your skills and experience:
  • At least 2 years’ work experience.
  • Bachelor's academic qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package $90,000 p.a + superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
