Excavator Operator
Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy buildingmaterials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, includingcrushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations acrossAustralia.

We are currently seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic Excavator Operator  to join the team at our  Diggers Rest Quarry in VIC,approx. 40 minutes’ drive Northwest of Melbourne CBD.
This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according tobusiness needs.

In your new role with us, you will:

Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment. Operate a heavy vehicle (excavator/front end loader/dump truck). This role will predominantly be on an excavator every shift. Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling.

This role is a great fit for you if you have:

Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Total commitment to risk management and OH&S. A positive work ethic and ability to work within Hanson values and philosophies. Excavator ticket is advantageous. Experience of 2 – 3 years in excavator operations. The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

What we offer:

$ - $ pending experience/qualifications, plus penalty rates, plus super. Shift hours - Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. Overtime available when required.
