What’s on offer?
Our Infrastructure Services business is currently seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our Bridges/ Structures team based in Bunbury working on a wide variety of Projects throughout Western Australia. This position will suit a candidate seeking to transition into the Construction Industry, with a keen attitude, willingness to learn and motivation to fast track their career.
In this position you will be supporting the Supervisor or Leading Hand in the delivery of bridge refurbishment, replacement and reinforced concrete construction works. You will be responsible for reporting and monitoring of workplace hazards, risks and incidents and ensuring that you are working within our Living Safety 2.0 guidelines.
We are seeking a Certificate III in Carpentry or demonstrated experience together with:
- A willingness to participate in and learn all aspects of timber, concrete bridge and reinforced concrete construction and a strong desire to learn to operate small to medium sized construction machinery.
- Traffic Management accreditation - BWTM & TC preferred, but not essential.
- Working at Heights Accreditation and High-Risk Licences in scaffolding, dogging and EWP preferred, but not essential.
- White Card.
- Valid Drivers’ Licence (HR or above preferred).
This position will require flexibility to work overtime, weekends and travel away from home as required.
