We are currently seeking a Projects and Inspection Engineer to handle on-site inspections and project management for Trelleborg Marine Systems Australia. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class engineering team and contribute to the success of our ambitious projects. As a Projects and Inspection Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring flawless execution of port berths assessments, generating comprehensive reports, facilitating equipment replacement, and managing projects from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and coordinate site inspections for port berths.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication.
  • Generate detailed condition reports and maintenance recommendations.
  • Submit accurate quotes and tender proposals.
  • Strictly adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Support project management from design to delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and manage budgets.
  • Ensure strict quality assurance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients on project progress and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience in Engineering or Construction Management will also be considered.
  • 5-10 years' proven experience in an engineering or on-site role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage travel schedules and work autonomously.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of marine/infrastructure construction and fabrication processes.

  • Strong problem-solving and planning abilities.
  • Collaborative individual dedicated to upholding quality standards.

Travel Requirement:

Frequent travel within the Australia and Oceania sales region (20-50% of working days) for site inspections and client project meetings.
