Our client, Jacoba Tiles, is a family owned and respected name in the Hunter Region’s building supply industry. Specialising in quality tiles and interiors, they pride themselves on delivering a tailored experience for every client.
About the Role:
As a Showroom Consultant, you’ll be the welcoming face of Jacoba Tiles, guiding customers through their design journey, offering product expertise and bringing their creative visions to life.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with clients to understand and support their design needs
• Providing expert advice on tile selections, colours, and textures
• Assisting both public and trade customers with product knowledge for tiles, pavers, and bathroom ware
• Maintaining a neat and inviting showroom space
• Processing transactions, including cash and EFTPOS handling
• Building and nurturing lasting customer relationships

Hours:
The showroom operates from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and am-2pm on Saturdays.
The role offers flexibility for either full-time hours Tuesday to Saturday, or part-time hours for candidates available to work Saturdays.

About You:

• Retail sales experience (preferably in design, homewares, or building supplies)
• Passion for customer service with a warm and professional approach
• Creativity and design sense, with the ability to advise on interior selections
• Sales and customer service mentality
• Ability to read building plans would be desirable
• Presentable and approachable
