About the role: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage processes and workflows
  • Drafting documentation and correspondence
  • Liaising with and building strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Management of requests for legal assistance - execution of contracts advice, compliance
  • Maintaining the contracts register
  • Maintaining, uploading, and archiving of legal documents/records 
  • Legal research 
  • Creating and running regular reports 
  • Assisting with Company Secretary Admin (drafting Agendas, preparing reports, lodging documentation, organising meetings etc.)
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Team as required

About you: 

  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant (corporate commercial) paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house team legal team
  • Ideally worked for ASX listed top 200 company 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to track multiple work-streams 
  • Able to identify areas of opportunity to improve efficiency
  • Driven and able to work autonomously while prioritising competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to work with all levels of the organisation
  • Adaptable and a great sense of humour and positive and happy to help nature
  • Australia citizen or permanent resident
