The Opportunity
As the Reservations Supervisor, you will deliver reservations requirements through accurate and timely delivering of information, processing of bookings and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will be responsible for supervising the department, ensuring that all staff are continually working to a high standard and working as a team.

Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing courteous and efficient assistance.
  • Accurately process reservations, ticketing, and administration, ensuring the efficient flow of passengers.
  • Uphold the confidence of agents, contractors, and visitors through accurate and up-to-date product information.
  • Contribute to the financial success of the department by closing sales and managing payments and accounts.
  • Lead by example and fostering a high level of team performance.
  • Meet responsibilities related to workplace health and safety, privacy, and other general requirements.
  • Supervise group reservations and central reservations functions.
  • Train and motivate junior staff.
  • Prepare rosters and staff requirements.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Experience in tourism and/or reservations, advantageous;
  • Professional, upbeat and energetic communication style;
  • Strong people management skills;
  • Ability to think on your feet and work well under pressure;
  • Professional phone etiquette;
  • Top-notch customer service skills;
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly;
  • Reliable and organised.
