Caringbah South, Australia Early Links Full time
  • Early Links is a small business that provides occupational therapy services to make daily life easier for our clients and their families. We take a ‘practical strategies’ approach to achieving goals, with additional interventions used to build capacities that underpin motor, sensory, regulation, social, emotional, and executive function development. Our team works predominantly with neurodivergent people including Autistic, ADHD, and learning or coordination differences. In our work, we are proud to amplify the voices of young people and adolescents who are often searching for connection, wanting to be understood, and have uniquely meaningful goals to achieve.

An Occupational Therapist working at Early Links creates partnerships with clients, their families, and other people in the client's support network (teachers, extended family, medical professionals, and other allied health) to achieve the meaningful goals that make daily life easier and more fulfilling. Much of our daily work is focused on connecting with people and noticing small moments where changes in skills are occurring or sharing our knowledge when invited. Between these moments, we use trauma-responsive, neurodevelopmental, and relational frameworks to reflect, plan, and prepare ways to help our clients gain abilities and build the skills they need to achieve their goals. Our occupational therapists are supported with further study and training opportunities, supervised by passionate and experienced senior clinicians, and encouraged to engage with the broader profession.
