Retail Solution Architect (Systems Integration)
Location: Eastern Suburbs, Victoria (Must be 3 days on-site)
Type: Contract or Permanent (Your Choice)
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Develop end-to-end architectural designs for integrating various retail systems, including Manhattan WMS, ecommerce platforms, and a new POS system. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
- Integration Leadership: Oversee the technical integration of systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality between ERP (e.g., SAP, d365 or similar), WMS, and retail platforms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including the Enterprise Architect, project managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend best-fit tools, platforms, and technologies to optimise system performance and achieve project goals.
- Implementation Oversight: Lead technical workshops, provide guidance to development teams, and ensure solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
- Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices to maintain the integrity and reliability of systems.
- Retail-Specific Enhancements: Develop solutions to address unique retail challenges, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and customer experience optimisation.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensure system integrations support high availability, performance, and scalability, particularly in high-transaction environments.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive architectural documentation, including design artefacts, integration workflows, and technical specifications.
What We're Looking For:
- 4-5 years’ experience as a Solution Architect in the retail industry.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar). D365 knowledge advantageous but not required.
- Expertise in Manhattan WMS and retail POS system integration.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and their role in omnichannel retail environments.
- Proven experience delivering solutions in B2C and/or B2B contexts.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
