The Opportunity
Working within the Commercial Performance Squad, as a Senior Digital Analyst joining Medibank, you will play a key role in improving our digital performance to support better health and wellbeing outcomes for Australia. In this role, you’ll use your digital analytics skills and problem-solving abilities to help Medibank make data-driven decisions that enhance our digital presence, improve customer journeys, and strengthen our business outcomes.
As an experienced Senior Digital Analyst, you will champion data-driven recommendations and decisions for better business outcomes, connecting customer journeys in the Medibank’s digital ecosystem using data, ensuring alignment between crew initiatives and business goals, and leveraging digital insights to drive commercial performance.
You will also serve as a digital insights SME and mentor driving awareness of digital channel performance and identifying enhancement opportunities across the organisation.
Your impact
Focus on digital performance: Analyse data to spot trends, gaps, and areas for improvement that directly influence Medibank’s digital performance. Shape data-driven decisions: Use analytics tools to address important business questions, translating data into clear, practical recommendations to improve digital channels. Enhance reporting and measurement: Create automated reports and dashboards to track success against key targets, ensuring our teams have clear insights into digital performance. Provide technical leadership: Be a lead expert in Adobe Analytics, offering guidance and support to colleagues to maximise our use of the platform. Experience with Google Analytics is also preferred. Use advanced analytics tools: Work with tools like SAS, SQL, Adobe, and Tableau to extract meaningful insights and develop practical solutions that drive digital performance. Build strong working relationships: Collaborate with teams across the business to promote the use of data-driven insights and digital strategies that align with Medibank’s goals.Who are you?
You are an accomplished Senior Digital Analyst with a passion for using data to drive digital performance and business outcomes. With a strong background in Adobe Analytics and other analytical tools, you’re skilled at turning data into insights that improve customer experiences and drive commercial success.
You are a problem solver who enjoys understanding the “why” behind digital performance metrics and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail mean you don’t just report on numbers; you look beyond the data to uncover patterns and recommend impactful changes.
You excel in collaborative environments, working confidently with a range of stakeholders across business and technical teams. Your communication skills allow you to convey technical insights in a way that’s easy for others to understand, helping to build support for data-driven initiatives.
As a self-starter, you take ownership of your work, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease. You bring a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement, anticipating challenges, and continuously seeking ways to optimise digital performance.
What We’re Looking For
A strong foundation in Adobe Analytics, with experience interpreting digital data to influence business decisions. Proficiency in SQL and SAS for data analysis and manipulation, with a clear understanding of how to apply these tools to drive insights. Industry experience in health is beneficial, giving you an understanding of relevant market dynamics and customer behaviours. Proven data visualisation skills using Tableau to communicate insights in a clear and impactful way. A collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling you to manage expectations and build productive relationships.
