As a Disability Support Worker within our Supported Independent Living facilities Goulburn you will be responsible for:

  • Practical knowledge and understanding of supports around psychosocial disability 
  • Assisting with domestic duties, including cooking and cleaning
  • Supporting clients in attending work, appointments, and social events
  • Providing personal care such as showering, toileting, and dressing
  • Administering and organising medication
  • Engaging in skill-building activities individually and in groups

What do I need to succeed in the role?

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with new people
  • An understanding of privacy and confidentiality
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and NSW Working with Children Check
  • Evidence of at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination
  • A current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Flexibility to work a 24-hour rotating roster

We offer a competitive casual hourly rate between $41.76 and $45.58 based on experience and qualifications alongside:
