We are currently looking for a National Inventory and Systems Manager to join the team in Auckland. Based at our Glass site in Penrose, this role is full time permanent.
Reporting to the National Warehousing, Metro and Distribution Manager, you will work as part of the Warehousing Management team to lead the current and future inventory processes and systems across 5 Visy-operated warehouses, and a network of 3PL warehouses. You will be responsible for developing and facilitating each of the inventory team members and their performance transforming to a Best in Class (BIC) standard.
The role requires strong leadership of people and culture, coupled with high technical skills across warehouse systems, processes, and performance, driving cost reductions and improving customer service levels with operational support and be an excellent collaborative communicator. You will actively promote innovation and continuous improvement in creating reporting information for management to make business improvement decisions.
Your demonstrated experience in implementing and successfully rolling out good inventory practices, along with your strong customer focus and relationship building skills, will set you up for success in this role.
