Job Description

What you will do:
This is a casual position and the hours available will be variable, including working weekends and public/school holidays.

  • Following direction towards portion control, cooking standards and wastage.
  • Ensure all aspects of food preparation is according to company guidelines and customer preferences
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implements
  • Cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning
  • Receive, store and distribute goods & equipment.

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, cafe, or club kitchen
  • An understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Willingness to be part of the team and jump in to help out as needed
