This opportunity

The prime responsibility of this role is to provide Level 2 support for TPG’s on-premise appCloud Infrastructure platform.

This role has an on-call component, you will be required to provide incident response, execute service requests and execute any changes required.

From time to time, you will support the platform engineering teams in the delivery of project outcomes. You will ensure a close working relationship with the other domains, the broader OneTech organisation, and the relevant vendors.

Responsibilities

Provide level 2 technical support for on-premises cloud infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cloud services. Monitor and maintain the health of the on-premises cloud infrastructure, including capacity management, performance tuning, and fault management and reporting. Collaborate closely with internal customers to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve technical issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to on-premises cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to on-premises cloud infrastructure and related processes. Identify and escalate critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for the on-premises cloud infrastructure. Providing support to delivery teams to allow for project delivery according to plan. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups, key internal stakeholders and TPG-T partners. Work in accordance with TPG-T’s policies, processes and procedures. Knowledge and experience

Information Technology and/or demonstrated work experience with cloud infrastructure environments. Proven ability to exercise independent judgement and work with limited supervision. Very strong customer focus, both internally and externally, in execution of accountabilities Good time management and prioritisation skills Strong problem solving, multitasking and time management skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to easily develop new relationships with both suppliers and colleagues.

Role Specific Requirements

Must have 2 - 5+ years of experience in operational roles working on large complex infrastructure environments. Proven experience supporting large VMWare platforms, including vRealize Automation product suite. Experience supporting container technologies such as OpenShift & Kubernetes. Proven experience supporting Linux and Windows server environments. Proven experience supporting storage platforms, including NetApp & HP Alletra. Experience supporting hyper converged infrastructure including HP's DHCI technologies. Experience working with DevOps principles, methodologies, and culture.
