As our Accounts Payable Officer , reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead you will ensure the accurate and efficient processing of Accounts Payable details in the company's financial management system.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and be at the forefront of optimising payment processes and maintaining strong financial controls.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Answer supplier queries regarding the status of accounts and payment confirmation.
- Ensure that all credits are claimed from suppliers.
- Investigate and resolve or if required escalate any payment discrepancies.
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement of business processes, policies and procedures as they pertain to accounts payable
What we are looking for:
- HSC (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years working in an accounts payable position (preferably in a corporate environment)
- Comprehensive exposure to the AP Module within an “ERP” Finance System such as Oracle, SAP or equivalent and exposure to an automated invoice scanning system.
About you:
You are an Accounts Payable Officer with strong communication skills, dedicated to fostering positive relationships with vendors and internal teams. Your customer service orientation ensures prompt and effective resolution of inquiries, maintaining high satisfaction levels. Analytically minded, you excel in reviewing invoices, identifying discrepancies, and supporting accurate financial reporting.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the overall financial health and efficiency of the organisation.
