The Role

Applications are invited from qualified classroom teachers for a specialist role teaching VCE English at our Caulfield Campus.

These are permanent and fixed term (one year) roles commencing in Term 1 2025. Time fraction is negotiable between 0.7 and full-time. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students and for utilising learning technologies.

Key Duties

• Review and assess students at the beginning of each program
• Integrate Formative Practice Techniques
• Provide a flexible program that caters for individual students
• Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn
• Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning
• Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture
• Provide reports within school standards and timelines
• Actively participate in professional development activities
• Embrace a culture of collaboration to enhance student learning

Skills and Experience

• Teaching qualifications
• Current VIT Registration
• Experience in teaching VCE English Units 1-4 is essential
• Ability to teach the MYP will be highly regarded
