About the Role:

As a Kitchenhand you will be required to help prepare food for all of the children within the centre. You will also be responsible for meal plating, service and routine cleaning as well as ensuring the safe and hygienic preparation of all foods within our kitchen. You will also develop and maintain meaningful relationships with our children, families and the team.

What you’ll need:

  • Food Handling Certificate and Food Supervisor Certificate
  • Previous kitchenhand experience in childcare services
  • Current & Valid Working with Children Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Experience in stock ordering & control
  • Experience in dietary and allergy safe requirements. 
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care would also be highly regarded
